Henry Eccleston was born in 1859 and died in1934,His wife Sarah Eccleston nee Fearon may have been from Mourne coast, They had four children,Matthew in the picture above,his brother Patrick (The Geo Eccleston who played in the Carlingford Pipe band,as a boy living in Ghan house in the 1950s I remember Patrick (The Geo)) called to my mother selling fish from the back of his bicycle .His call outside each house was "Herrins Alive".His brother Thomas died after falling from a tree when he was 6 years old, And a child died at birth,they were all born on The South Commons. Matthew moved to England when he was about 19. He had a son Matthew, who had a son Geoff Eccleston. Patrick was married to Annie and the family home was a small cottage where Nat McGuinness lives now.They had no family.
