Sacred To the Memory of Margaret, Wife of James Fortiscue Eccleston, Revenue officer of the Port of Dundalk, who departed this life 8th February, 1818, age 30 years. An affectionate wife a tender Mother and a sincere friend. Also to her son Henry, who died three months previous 9 months. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord. This stone was erected as a token of filial affection by her son, George Eccleston.
