Re the question below from Mary Ellen Campbell about a McCann/Donnelly connection. On 29 April 1870 John Donnelly from Glenmore married Mary McCann (who had a brother Patrick McCann) from a couple of miles further up Glenmore. They had 11 children: Patrick (1871, my grandfather), Joseph (1873), Mary (1875), John (1877) (father of Matt Donnelly of the Central Bar), Rose Ann (1879), Peadar (1882) (hardware store in Dundalk), Catherine (1884), Bridget (1886), her twin Michael (1886) (business in Carlingford), Annie (1889), Ellen (about 1896).
