Trying to climb King John's Castle was a memory I had in 6th Class I think... While my mum was in shopping in Joe McKevitts myself and Willie Doherty and Declan Harper R. I. P. would try and execute this daring feat... Can remember Declan getting to the top... Of course I had to dash back to the car otherwise I would have to walk to Omeath... Great times back in the day... Great memories loosing all the marbles that my brother,Pat had won at school... Wasn't one bit impressed I might add... The micenars and the red lady...list is endless..
