Sacred to the memory of Sarah Montgomery late of Carlingford who departed this mortal life on the 28th day of November 1855 in the 75th year of her age. This tomb stone was erected by her son Robert Montgomery who though long resident in America ever cherished a loud and tender rememberance of his aged parent and wished to pay this last tribute of filial regard to his beloved mother. "But the end of all things is at hand, be ye therefore sober and watch unto prayer" 1st Peter 4C 7V. also James Montgomery her husband who departed this life May 9th 1864 Aged 84 years.
