Sacred to the memory of Hugh Moore of Nootka Lodge Carlingford Esqr who departed this life on Sunday October the 5th 1851. His afflicted widow and children in patient resignation to the Devine will, erect this small tribute to their everlasting love. The dead in Christ shall live. Also sacred to the memory of Mrs Mary Moore widow to the above named Hugh Moore Esqr she died 6th Jan 1854 leaving her bereaved family to deplore the death of their surviving parent and to lament the loss of the best of mothers. Her end was peace.
