Erected in the memory of the Revnd Edward Thomas AM late Vicar of the parish who died March 15th 1869 by his bereaved widow and children, who mourn the loss of the best of husbands, the tenderest of parents and one of the most consistent of Gods ministers. "To him to live was Christ, to die was gain." Also to Eliza his wife who departed this life June 14th 1885. A loving mother, and true friend. "I know that my Redeemer liveth" Job X1X.25
