Underneath this stone are deposited the remains of Lieut Roger Twigge of his Majesties 8th Reg, son of the late Reverend Paul Twigge, 33 years,Rector of this parish.He died on the 25th of August 1818 in the 82 ....year of his age.Beloved, Honoured,Lamented.
Also of Elizabeth Twigge his wife who departed this life on the 19th of 1828 Aged 74 years.
And of their children Margaret Aged12,
And Roger aged 6.
